The judicial police elements of the Meknes security directorate have succeeded in dismantling a criminal gang suspected of its members' involvement in a series of robberies with threats and bladed weapons, following suspicion of their connection to more than 15 robberies that occurred in several neighborhoods of the Ismaili capital within one week.
The suspected gang consists of four individuals, including a minor aged 17. Initial data indicates that the detainees have previous criminal records. They have been apprehended and placed under police custody, pending the investigation supervised by the competent public prosecution.
The judicial investigation aims to uncover all circumstances and details of the acts attributed to the detainees, and to determine their extent of involvement in the various registered robbery operations during the mentioned period. Investigations and inquiries are also ongoing to identify other data related to the case, pending the completion of the applicable legal procedures.
