The Moroccan national futsal team will begin its participation in the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations "Futsal AFCON 2026" finals this Monday evening, facing its Algerian counterpart, starting at 8 PM, at the covered hall of Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in the capital, Rabat.
The Atlas Lions have completed their preparations to compete in this continental competition, which Morocco is hosting from October 12th to 21st, with the ambition of continuing their continental brilliance and retaining the African title. The Moroccan team will continue its journey in the group stage by facing the Zambian team next Wednesday, before concluding this stage by meeting the Libyan team on Friday, with the aim of securing a place in the knockout stages. The national team enters the championship with the ambition of defending its title, having won the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations in the last three editions, making its current participation another opportunity to assert its presence in continental competitions.
