Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo said he is the greatest and most complete player in terms of build and talent in history, whether he reaches 1000 goals or not, and that this is what the numbers say, as they tell everything.
Ronaldo said in an interview with CNN's Portuguese edition: "Some prefer Messi, Pelé, or Diego Armando Maradona. This is ultimately a personal taste, and I respect it." He added, "But if someone claims I am not a complete player, that is a big lie. I am the most complete player in history." When Ronaldo was asked if he was seeking to reach the milestone of a thousand goals, he replied, "Things must happen naturally. Whether I score 920 goals, 925, or 930, the greatest player in history is me, and that's final."
