HIBAPRESS – Abdelatif Barka
Royal Gendarmerie elements in Agadir, during a security operation carried out on Saturday and Sunday, managed to dismantle a secret factory for manufacturing inflatable boats in the Fdhalat commune in the Benslimane province, suspected of being linked to networks active in organizing irregular migration.
The operation resulted in the seizure of boats ready for use, significant quantities of raw materials, and manufacturing machinery, in addition to the arrest of three individuals, including one Moroccan and two citizens from sub-Saharan African countries.
This operation was the result of investigations and research that lasted for weeks, in coordination between the various services of the Royal Gendarmerie in Agadir, Inzgane, and El Ouatia, and with the support of regional and central technical services.
Investigations focused on identifying the potential extensions of networks suspected of involvement in organizing secret migration operations, transporting candidates for them, and providing logistical support, within the framework of efforts to dismantle criminal networks associated with these activities.
