The Fifth Criminal Squad of the Judicial Police at the Marrakech Security Directorate managed, a short while ago this Tuesday evening, to arrest three individuals suspected of involvement in possessing and promoting drugs.
According to the newspaper's sources, the arrest operation took place after the aforementioned squad received information about the suspects' activities. A tight ambush was set up, leading to their apprehension while in possession of hashish pieces prepared for distribution. The search operation also resulted in the seizure of 10 slabs of hashish from the first detainee, while 8 slabs were found in possession of the second detainee. The detainees were taken to the headquarters of the Judicial Police at the Marrakech Security Directorate, in order to draw up the arrest and seizure report, as well as to deepen the investigation with them, while placing them under police custody, pending their presentation before the Public Prosecution.
