Local authorities, led by Tadert in Guelmim Province, intervened yesterday, Thursday, to care for a 78-year-old elderly man, originally from the city of Fez, who had been using the streets of the Tadert commune as shelter, in a social situation that required intervention and support.
The individual concerned was transferred to the "Sand" social center, in coordination with the association overseeing its management, with the aim of providing him with the necessary shelter and care, and placing him in more suitable social conditions that preserve his dignity and meet his basic needs.
This operation falls within the framework of the efforts made by local authorities to protect vulnerable individuals, particularly the elderly living in a state of homelessness, by coordinating with relevant social institutions and associations, thus contributing to enhancing the care for this category and preserving their dignity.
