On Sunday, October 25, 2026, efforts continued to extinguish the fire that broke out at the municipal landfill in the city of Tiznit. This involved mobilizing the municipality's machinery and reinforcing the necessary logistical means to cover the fire hotspots, contain them, and bring them under control.
In this regard, Ibrahim Adalghadi, the Deputy President of the Municipal Council responsible for public works, along with municipal officials, supervised the follow-up of field interventions and assessed the efforts made to continue extinguishing the fires and limit their spread.
These operations are being carried out with the participation of the municipality's machinery and with the support of some civic-minded companies that contributed by providing the necessary means for intervention, while field mobilization continues to control the fire hotspots and complete the extinguishing operations.
