HIBAPRESS – Fikri Waldali
The phenomenon of targeting and burning waste containers in the city of Al Hoceima continues to provoke the indignation of the population, in light of the repeated acts that cause damage to facilities and equipment designated to serve citizens, and directly affect the general landscape and cleanliness of the city.
Ta'anin Road recently witnessed a waste container being set on fire by an unknown person, in a new incident that brings back to the forefront the issue of vandalism of public property and equipment, without the motives or circumstances of this act being clarified, until this hour.
The repetition of these incidents raises questions about the parties or individuals involved in them, and the effectiveness of the measures taken to curb these behaviors that deplete public facilities and increase the burden of managing the sanitation sector.
In light of this, calls are renewed to enhance monitoring and awareness of the importance of preserving public property, along with opening investigations to identify those responsible for these acts and take the necessary legal consequences, which contributes to reducing the phenomenon of burning and vandalizing waste containers in the city.
