Abdelilah Benkirane, the Secretary-General of the Justice and Development Party, escalated his tone in response to Fatima Ezzahra Al-Mansouri, in the context of the political debate between the Justice and Development Party and the Authenticity and Modernity Party, regarding accusations related to drugs.
Benkirane, during the weekly meeting of the Justice and Development Party team in the House of Representatives, held on Monday in Rabat, directed sharp criticism at Al-Mansouri, saying: "If we are selling drugs, what are you selling?" before adding: "Is there any of our leaders in jail like you?"
This escalation comes after statements by Al-Mansouri during the discussion of the government program, in which she addressed previous accusations made by Benkirane against the Authenticity and Modernity Party, and also referred to the case of a militant from the Justice and Development Party who was previously arrested in the city of Safi on charges related to drug trafficking.
