Planning Commission reveals date of payment of compensation to census participants
The High Commission for Planning said it had taken a series of measures to ensure the smooth running of the 2024 General Population and Housing Census, scheduled for September 1-30.
The delegation’s statement indicated that the measures included paying compensation to the participants in this national operation and insuring them against the risks and accidents to which they may be exposed, in addition to providing the necessary means of transportation, noting that the compensation of the participants in carrying out the census operation will be disbursed by bank transfer, whether for those who have a bank account or for those who have a payment account opened with the money distribution agencies (Breed Cash, Cash Plus, Faksh, Daman Cash, Al-Falahi Cash…).
The communication explains that this process will take place in two stages, where the compensation for the in-person training of observers and researchers will be paid for the period from August 15 to 27, 2024, within a maximum period of 48 hours immediately after the completion of this training, and the compensation for the data collection stage which will be carried out from September 1 to 30, 2024, within a period not exceeding 48 hours after the end of this phase and the delivery of the electronic card to the interests of the High Commission for Planning.
