Bayern Munich in trouble after sale of Noussair Mazraoui
Bayern Munich have suffered a painful technical blow after defender Josip Stanisic was injured. Reports in the press indicate that the right-back will be out for at least two months.
Stanisic suffered a torn collateral ligament in his right knee, according to preliminary medical reports.
According to media reports, the 24-year-old Croatian player will be out for around 8 weeks, which is a major blow for the Bavarian team and its Belgian coach, Vincent Kompany.
Stanisic’s injury means Bayern are forced to play their fixtures over the next two months with a squad that includes right-back Sasha Boye, after the club sold their former player, Moroccan Noussair Mazraoui, to Manchester United this summer.
Bayern are unlikely to bring in a new right-back in the coming period, according to the website of the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”.
