Lawyer Yasser Kantoush issued a press release on Saturday in which he announced that he was withdrawing from handling the cases of artist Sherine Abdel Wahab and that he was also withdrawing from his role as her personal lawyer.

Kantoush said in a statement on Saturday morning: “I have not lost a case in which I defended the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab since I worked with her years ago, and what was mentioned in her intervention with the journalist Amr Adeeb, by which she “I meant one of the lawyers who was responsible to me for her files with the Rotana company,” he stressed.
