Everything you need to know about the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will feature 22 sports on the programme, for 23 disciplines (para cycling includes two: para cycling track and para cycling road) and a total of 549 events, spread over 269 sessions (morning / afternoon-evening). While the Tokyo Paralympic Games had twelve days of competition, the Paris 2024 Games will only have eleven, for a denser programme, rich in multiple highlights.

There is no question for the para athletes to start the competition on the day of the opening ceremony, Wednesday, August 28, 2024. The events will not begin until the 29th in order to give everyone time to enjoy this opening ceremony, which promises to be exceptional, together.
