A Chinese group decides to invest 500 billion in a battery factory in Tangier

Morocco, with its promising capabilities, continues to attract large international investors, this time from a famous Chinese group specializing in the manufacturing of lithium batteries, which has already had investment experience in the Kingdom.

In this regard, the Chinese group “chinzum”, specialized in the production of anodes for lithium batteries, has decided to invest 500 million dollars, or approximately 500 billion cents, in the city of Tangier.

It is expected that this vast project will extend over an area of ​​30 hectares and create 1,500 jobs in the region. The “Chinzum” factory, in the Tanger Tech area, will produce anodes for lithium batteries, an essential element for the manufacture of electric batteries.
