Morocco participates in the work of the High-Level International Forum on Youth, Peace and Security

Today, Wednesday, in Amman, the Jordanian capital, the Kingdom of Morocco participated in the work of the High-Level International Forum on Youth, Peace and Security, which was distinguished by the presence of Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of Jordan. Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Morocco is represented at this forum by the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaïd, at the head of a delegation that includes the Director of Cooperation and Legal Affairs of the Youth Sector, and a delegation of young people participating in the various workshops of this forum. forum.

The forum, which was attended by a number of Arab youth and sports ministers, saw the launch of the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace and Security 2023-2028, prepared by a committee led by Jordan, represented by the Ministry of Youth, based on the decision of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports.

The forum, organized by the Jordanian Ministry of Youth until tomorrow Thursday, also includes dialogue sessions on the mechanisms for promoting and implementing the youth, peace and security agenda and the priorities of member states in developing the executive plan of the strategy.

The High-Level International Forum aims to advance action and empower young people to lead the promotion of peace and security, with a focus on support, cooperation and implementation of strategies and setting specific regional priorities for youth, peace and security 2023-2028. , which was launched by the forum, will serve as the basis and main framework for the promotion and implementation of youth-led peace and security initiatives.
