Player participation
– The number of players to be entered on the match sheet is twenty (20) players maximum.
– The number of changes allowed is five (05) per match (whether field players or goalkeepers) in three opportunities as stipulated by the laws of the game. In the event of a match with extra time, each team is entitled to a 6th change.
– The quota of foreigners: the maximum number of foreign players entitled to participate is set at five (05) players regardless of their age category.
– Clubs are required to keep separate records of warnings (yellow cards) for this cup in accordance with FRMF regulations.
– Clubs, players and staff subject to a disciplinary sanction (in the National Championship or the Coupe du Trône) may include the Coupe d’excellence matches in the calculation of their penalty, as provided for in the FRMF disciplinary code (red cards, suspension from the field, etc.)
– Regarding the ages of the players, clubs are required to register at least 10 U23 players on the match sheet and a mandatory participation of at least 06 U23 players throughout the duration of the match. In the event of suspension of a U23 player during a match, the quota of U23 players must respect the same principle by imputing the number of players sent off.
– Failure to comply with these provisions constitutes fraud and gives rise to the application of article 107 “Reservations; complaints and evocation” of the FRMF disciplinary code.
Technical staff
Unless there is an exceptional exemption from the LNFP and according to its free assessment of the circumstances, clubs are obliged to align the technical staff of their “Senior” team.
