HIBAPRESS – Follow-up
Egyptian media reports have reported new developments regarding the future of Moroccan international Achraf Dari with the Egyptian Al Ahly club, where the "Atlas Lions" defender has set his conditions for agreeing to leave in the coming period.
According to the circulating data, Al Ahly is heading towards ending its contract with Dari after the completion of the foreign players list, following the registration of Youssef Belamri in the past winter transfer period. Media personality Khaled El-Ghandour mentioned through the "Stade El-Mehwar" program that the player has presented the "Red Castle" administration with two options to decide his future. The first option stipulates agreeing to terminate the contract completely and granting him a free release to move to any other team, in exchange for waiving a portion of his outstanding financial dues, which are estimated at about $2.5 million. The second option is to leave on loan for six months, with a guarantee of his re-registration in the team's list at the beginning of next season after the loan period ends. In return, the Al Ahly administration is studying all legal and financial aspects related to the file, in light of the limited time before the closure of the local registration window, and the desire of the technical staff to strengthen the team's ranks without affecting its stability or financial interests.
