Monday weather: rain showers expected in several regions of the Kingdom

The General Directorate of Meteorology expects a slight rise in temperatures on Monday with relatively warm weather in the plains of Tadla, the extreme southeast of the country and the eastern and southern provinces.

Thunderclouds accompanied by raindrops or local thunderstorms will be concentrated over the highlands of the Greater and Middle Atlantic, on their eastern slopes and in the south of the Eastern region.

Further light and local rains are expected in the morning on the coasts extending between Sidi Ifni and Tarfaya, in addition to the formation of low clouds accompanied by local foggy masses both on the eastern coasts of the Mediterranean Sea and on the northern and central plains of the Atlantic Ocean, Sais, as well as the northwest of the desert regions.

Fairly strong wind gusts are also expected in the southern eastern region, the Mediterranean Great Atlantic highlands, the southeast and the central and southern coasts.

As for the minimum temperatures, they will oscillate between 12 and 16 degrees in the Great Atlantic, the Mediterranean, the countryside and the high plateaus of the East, and between 23 and 29 degrees in the extreme south and south-east of the country, the plains of Tadla, and Oued Moulouya, and will be between 17 and 22 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.

The sea will be calm to slightly rough on the Mediterranean coast, and slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coast.
