Nador: Requests for intervention from the authorities due to the increase in acts of witchcraft under the cover of legal ruqyah
Heba Press: Oujda
Recently, the Nador region has witnessed a proliferation of people who claim to be “ruqyahs,” exploiting people’s ignorance and desire for treatment. These people wear the cloak of legal ruqyah, with the aim of making a quick profit in exchange for destroying families and harming them.
What increases the danger of these people is the practice of witchcraft and magic, while some people resort to it in good faith to seek to cure their illnesses or to break the spell, but they ultimately find themselves victims of actions that lead to the destruction of their families and the worsening of their health and psychological problems, and from time to time amulets are found on the cornice of the city of Nador, near the governor “Sidi Ali”.
Urgent intervention is therefore required from the relevant authorities to combat this phenomenon and limit its spread, by raising awareness among citizens of the dangers of resorting to these fraudsters and by providing legal and psychological assistance to their victims.
