The authorities of the province of Tata have announced an initial assessment of the floods that have been affecting the region since the day before yesterday.

In a statement by the head of the Tamanart community (Tata province) to the Channel 2 website, he said that 8 bodies had been found while 15 people were still missing, following the torrential floods that the region experienced, which caused the collapse of many houses.

Since yesterday evening, regional authorities have been stepping up their efforts to search for missing persons.
