Heba Press-Martel
The town of Martil was shaken yesterday evening, Sunday, by a tragic incident which resulted in the death of a child who fell from the top of a building.
The details of the incident are due to the fact that a woman asked for the help of a building caretaker to help her open the door of her house because she had forgotten the keys inside.
The caretaker of the building, in turn, asked to help the 11-year-old child by climbing onto the roof of the building and trying to enter the house through the window, using a long piece of cloth, which tore and caused the child to fall from the top, where he immediately breathed his last.
Immediately after learning of the incident, members of the local authorities and security services went to the scene, where the body of the child was transferred to the morgue and an investigation was opened to reveal the details of the incident.
