Spanish judicial authorities have issued an international order against four Moroccan citizens suspected of involvement in the murder of two members of the Civil Guard in a collision that occurred last February near Barbate.
The Spanish newspaper El Faro reported that the case came after the suspects were identified thanks to concerted efforts and security coordination between Spanish authorities and their Moroccan counterparts.
The Spanish newspaper pointed out that the investigation revealed that the suspects were in hiding immediately after the incident that led to the death of two Civil Guard officers, and that the discovery of one of the smuggling boats in the province of Huelva has strengthened the investigation, as investigators were able to collect important evidence on the smuggling network, which can help speed up access to the perpetrators of the trafficking.
