Heba Press – Meknes
A train coming from the city of Sidi Kacem towards the city of Meknes was attacked with stones by reckless young men and minors.
According to information gathered by Heba Press, the train passengers were surprised by a stone attack at the entrance to the city of Meknes, which caused the train’s windows to break.
Several cabins, as well as an elderly woman and a child, were injured.
Immediately after the train stopped at Prince Abdul Qader Station, the concerned authorities intervened to transfer the elderly woman and the child to the hospital for treatment, and an investigation was launched into the accident, which left a state of panic and fear among the other passengers.
This serious incident coincides with the celebrations of the Prophet’s birthday in the capital Ismailia, which is experiencing increased security due to the strong participation of Moroccans from different cities.
With the increase in attacks on roads, cars and railways, citizens are increasingly demanding the need to impose severe sanctions on hoodlums, bandits and criminals who do not hesitate to endanger the safety and lives of road users.
