Today, Wednesday, September 25, the Financial Crimes Court of Fez postponed until next Wednesday, October 9, the hearing of the trial of the parliamentarian and former president of the Moulay Yacoub group, the group’s advisers, entrepreneurs and employees of the appeals chamber, and requested that the accused and those detained with him be taken to the local prison of Borkaiz in Fez.
The MP and former head of the Moulay Yacoub group is being prosecuted for serious charges related to forgery, abuse of influence and embezzlement of public funds.
The former leader of the aforementioned group was sentenced to two years in prison during the primary stage.
