Today, Wednesday, a pregnant woman and another suffering from a chronic illness were transported and treated via a Royal Gendarmerie helicopter from the territorial community of Takmut to the regional hospital of Batata.
In a statement to the Maghreb Arab Agency, the regional delegate for health and social protection, Lahabib Aznak, confirmed that this operation is part of the efforts made by the various actors to provide assistance to the local population affected by the very strong storms that the region has witnessed recently,
He added that the health condition of the two women is stable and they are receiving the necessary medical care.
