Guercif: Security forces arrest internationally wanted Dutch national

Last Monday, April 1, Guercif police officers arrested a Dutch citizen of Egyptian origin, aged 63, who is the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by German judicial authorities.

The foreign national is wanted internationally under an international arrest warrant issued at the request of the National Central Bureau (NCB) in Wiesbaden, Germany, on suspicion of being involved in a drug trafficking case. heroin.

The suspect was placed in police custody before being referred to the competent public prosecutor’s office, while the National Central Office of Rabat, the INTERPOL office of the General Directorate of National Security, was responsible for notifying the arrest to its German counterpart awaiting extradition proceedings.

The arrest of the suspect is part of the commitment of the Moroccan security services to activate international security cooperation mechanisms, in particular the pursuit and arrest of persons wanted internationally in cases of transnational crime.
