Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan national team, announced his new team to face the Central African Republic in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
This list included the call-up of young player Reda Belhiyan, who plays for Italian club Hellas Verona, to be part of the new elements seeking to strengthen the “Atlas Lions” team in the next stage.
Who is Réda Belhayan?
Reda Belhiane, the 20-year-old young player, was born in France and trained at the Nice training center before joining Italian club Hellas Verona last January.
Belhayan stands out for his ability to play as a defensive midfielder, which made Regragui choose him on his list, as he is looking for a player with strong defensive abilities to succeed Sofiane Amrabat.
