Elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in Khamis Sidi Abdel Jalil in Matmata, Tahla district, Taza province, were able to arrest one of the most dangerous drug traffickers in the region, during a successful operation which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
According to the Heba Press source, the police set up a precise ambush for the suspect, allowing them to catch him, in possession of a quantity of the drug “Al-Kif”.
According to the same source, the suspect is considered a valuable prize and investigations into him are expected to lead to the involvement of other people in related criminal activities.
The person concerned was placed under theoretical custody and will be the subject of an investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, before being brought to justice before the Taza justice system to have a say against him.
