The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Portuguese government has approved the appointment of Saïd Moussi to the post of extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Algerian Republic to the Portuguese Republic.
The appointment of Saeed Moussa as the new ambassador to Lisbon sparked much mockery on social networks, which nominated him to enter the Guinness Book, as the ambassador who traveled the most between capitals and was quickly removed.
Saïd Moussa was ambassador to Madrid, but he was dismissed after Spain recognized Morocco’s sovereignty over its southern provinces. He served as the same ambassador to France and was dismissed after Paris also recognized the Moroccan Sahara.
Saïd Moussa, the most withdrawn ambassador in history, finds himself this time in Lisbon, and is a candidate for a third withdrawal if Lisbon recognizes the Moroccan Sahara.
