It was learned that a man in his sixties was bitten by a venomous snake, during an irrigation operation he was carrying out in one of the fields on the outskirts of Ait Atab, in the Azilal province.
The sting put the victim into a coma, after which he was taken to hospital, but the severity of the poison led to the victim’s immediate death.
The man’s death has caused great shock and sadness among his neighbors and family, and he is expected to be buried in his hometown today, Saturday.
