The Moroccan company Aero Driver, specializing in the manufacturing of drones, announced that it had succeeded in developing a new suicide drone under the name “P-2”.
According to Moroccan information, this “kamikaze” aircraft is distinguished by its ability to carry out precise strikes on targets up to a distance of 1,500 kilometers, thanks to its provision of a 40 kg warhead and a local guidance system.
The P-2 is designed to accomplish a variety of missions, from destroying radar and air defense systems to targeting heavy and light fixed and moving targets, making it a powerful addition to Morocco’s defensive and offensive capabilities.
Suicide drones, or so-called “kamikaze” aircraft or single-purpose attack aircraft, play an important and growing role in modern military operations.
