Heba Press – Nador
Work on the project to expand and bend national road No. 16 (coastal road) between the Taouima area and the entrance to the port of Nador is nearing completion and it is expected that the work will be completed within the next few months to fully utilize the road.
This vital road extends for more than 30 kilometers, and the Ministry of Equipment and Water has allocated a budget estimated at around 21 billion centimes to carry out the expansion work.
The project aims to improve infrastructure in the provinces of Nador, Al Hoceima and Driouch, and reduce the risks associated with the sharp bends that characterize the coastal road.
It also aims to reduce traffic congestion and strengthen the road network connecting several regions and the port of Nador in the Western Mediterranean, which contributes to the development of transport and transport between regions.
