In this regard, Hiba Press received a clipping of what would be a report issued by the competent authorities, by which it confirmed that the cause was essentially due to an accidental accident at the level of the main chain affiliated to the National Electricity Office and Eau Potable – the water sector – main supplier to the city of Settat.
The Settat Regional Directorate of the Casablanca-Settat Multiservices Company announced to its customers that the water flow will decrease and could reach the point of interruption, starting Monday, November 4, 2024 in the evening, at ten o’clock in the morning. evening, and the company will endeavor to take all necessary measures to continue providing this vital material to the population until the repair of this damage is completed, emphasizing the need to preserve this vital material and rationalize its use in all daily activities.
As of this writing, some residential areas are still experiencing significant low flow levels, and others have reached the point of blackout.
