General census results showed that the legal population of the Kingdom reached a total of 36,828,330 people as of September 1 of the current year.

Thus, since the 2014 General Population and Housing Census, the Kingdom’s population has increased by 2,980,088 people, or 8.80%+.

As for the total number of families resulting from the census, it is determined at 9,275,038 families.

In this regard, the number of inhabitants of the Guelmim-Oued Noun region reached a total of 448,685, including 533 foreigners, while the number of families reached 105,394 families.
