Abdul Latif Hamouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, in his capacity as a member of the Supreme Council of the Naif Arab University of Security Sciences, participates in the work of the fiftieth session of the annual meeting of the Supreme Council of University, and during the official graduation ceremony of the 42nd class of postgraduate students, women and men, of this institution, organized by the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, between the 12th and November 14, 2024.
A statement from the head of the General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate of National Territorial Surveillance explained that the current session of the Supreme Council of the Naif Arab University of Security Sciences (the High Reporting Body) was marked by the adoption of the university decree. new strategic plan 2025-2029 to develop the educational environment and scientific research to face new security challenges.
It also stood out for the evaluation of the previous interim training strategy for the period 2019-2023, where the efforts of the university and its specialist colleges and academic institutes were reviewed in the field of research scientist in the areas of artificial intelligence, cybercrime, forensic evidence, leadership, planning and crisis management, in addition to assisting in decision-making within security and police institutions.
In this regard, the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance reviewed his proposals and visions regarding the adoption of the new interim training strategy for the period 2025-2029, which aims to develop training academic in the police field, and openness to new scientific specializations, in addition to focusing on the quality of training. And support innovation in line with citizens’ growing expectations of police security installations, but also in line with new challenges and atypical threats.
The communication adds that the members of the Supreme Council of the University discussed, on this occasion, the axes supporting the implementation of the new police training strategy, in particular the axis of financial viability, the improvement of governance , the realization of digital transformation workshops, and finally the administrative development and modernization of the structural organization in accordance with the objectives of the next training strategy.
The annual meetings of the Supreme Council of the university coincide with the graduation ceremony of the 42nd class of postgraduate men and women, master’s and doctoral students, who are continuing their academic studies at the Naif Arab University security sciences.
The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance attended the closing ceremony, overseen by the Saudi Minister of the Interior, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, and members of the Supreme Council of the University.
Hamoshi also participated in the activities of the university graduation ceremony for graduates from many Arab countries, who were pursuing their higher education in various specialized colleges and institutes affiliated with the Naif Arab University of Security Sciences.
