This event took place in a distinguished national atmosphere, to celebrate the anniversary of the victorious Green March and the glorious Independence Day, considered among the most significant events in the modern history of Morocco.
The event began with a speech delivered by Mohammed Al-Jabbari, Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Bilbao, where he expressed his joy at this meeting which embodies the spirit of belonging and patriotism.

The Consul mentioned the high instructions given by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Green March, to restructure the institutions concerned with the affairs of Moroccans in the world, in particular the Council of the Moroccan Community and the Mohammedia Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad, which aim to improve services intended for this group and promote their contribution to the national development project.
