Agreement to establish a project for a development center for oilseed production in Morocco

On the sidelines of the sixteenth edition of the International Agricultural Show in Morocco, Mohammed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, and Marc Fesneau, Minister of Agriculture and the Food Sovereignty of the French Republic, in Meknes, signed a road map for the development of cooperation and partnership in the fields of agriculture and forests.

On this occasion, the two ministers presided over the signing of several agreements between professionals from the two countries, including a memorandum of understanding as part of a project aimed at establishing a regional technical center for the development of oilseed production in Morocco.

This project, from which the Professional Federation of Oilseed Crops (FOLEA) benefits, aims to strengthen the technical and organizational capacities of actors in the value chain by creating a regional technical center, as part of an approach of construction and cooperation between both parties for the sustainable development of the oilseed value chain in Morocco. »
