This morning, the Moroccan Consulate in Naples organized mobile services for the benefit of members of the Moroccan community residing in Polistina and its surroundings, located 450 km from the Consulate headquarters.

This process is part of the strategy pursued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans residing abroad in the implementation of the High Royal Instructions, which aims in the consular field to provide distinguished consular services and to ensure appropriate conditions for their implementation.
In an exclusive call, Muhammad Khalil, the Consul General, explained that this mobile consulate for our city municipality is the first phase of the mobile consulate operations program that was prepared this year, as it will include various entities affiliated with the sector. influence of the Consulate General in Naples.
The head of the consular center then added that this mobile consulate is part of the preparation for Operation Marhaba, which usually begins at the beginning of June and marks the influx of members of the community to visit their country, Morocco.

This itinerant consulate, organized within the municipal prefecture, allowed it to provide administrative services for the benefit of Moroccans in southern Italy, in particular the issuance of passports, the electronic national card, as well as judicial evidence, in in addition to providing explanations on how to use the digital platform to make an appointment.

This occasion was also an opportunity for the Consul General to meet Italian officials, led by Mr. Michele Tripodi, Mayor of the Municipality of Polestina, who welcomed the consular staff to the municipal headquarters, welcoming the strong relations that unite the Kingdom of Morocco with the Italian Republic, as well as the good reputation enjoyed by the Moroccan community in the region.

In the same context, most Moroccans in southern Italy expressed their satisfaction and appreciated this initiative, thanking the consular staff. They also expressed their attachment to the glorious Alawite throne, emphasizing their strong bond with their dear homeland and their permanent mobilization behind His Majesty the King to defend the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco.

On the sidelines of this consulate, the Italian Islamic Federation organized a conference on the theme of religious values ​​and citizenship, attended by the mayor of the city, the consul general and representatives of the region’s religions.
