COD Meknes accesses Botola Pro D1

COD Meknes reached the Botola Pro D1 on Sunday at the end of the 27th day of the second division (D2), which saw the club from the Ismaili city concede a draw (3-3) against Olympique Dcheira.

At the end of this draw, the CODM numerically secures one of the two places for advancement to D1, bringing its assets to 55 points, 9 units from third place, occupied by USM Oujda (46 pts).

The CODM thus regains its place among the elite clubs, sixteen years after leaving the national first division championship.

Champion of Morocco in 1995 and winner of the Coupe du Trône in 1966, CODM was promoted this season to the second division Pro D2 after spending eight years among amateurs.
