Earthquake of magnitude 3.1 degrees in the province of Tetouan

A earthquake measuring 3.1 degrees on the Richter scale was recorded on Saturday in the province of Tetouan, said the National Institute of Geophysics (ING).

The earthquake, whose epicenter is located in the commune of Al Hamra, occurred at 03h44min 22sec (GMT+1), said the National Seismic Monitoring and Warning Network, under the ING, in a seismic alert bulletin.

Occurring at a depth of 72 km, this unfelt tremor occurred at a latitude of 35,397°N and a longitude of 5,939°W, according to the same source.
