The design and development of this new platform took into account a set of ethical measures and principles linked to the mechanisms for receiving and processing citizen reports concerning illicit digital content, particularly in terms of guaranteeing strict protection. personal data of users of this platform, said the DGSN, stressing that the reporting mechanism offers a multitude of options allowing users to declare or not their identity data.

This new platform establishes fundamental security bases and concepts, including the co-production of security which places the citizen as a partner in the consolidation of security in its broad definition, through the notification of all potential risks and threats, adds the press release. , noting that it also enshrines the duty to warn which requires everyone to report all crimes or attempted crimes “threatening our collective security”.

The national security services thus aim, through the development and launch of the digital platform “E-Blagh”, to strengthen the feeling of public security and the interaction between the security institution and its societal surroundings, and to develop practical and effective mechanisms to combat crimes relating to new technologies, through the involvement of citizens in cybersecurity and the preservation of the Internet, as a secure space free from threats and criminal behavior.

Practically, the press release continues, each citizen will be able to access the digital platform via their electronic site “www.e-blagh.ma” and register a report of criminal content that threatens them or others, in a simple, secure and rapid manner. , before the elements of the technical police carry out the necessary expertise and diagnoses on the suspects involved in the possible crimes and submit them to the territorially competent judicial police with a view to notifying the public prosecutor’s office and requesting its instruction regarding the investigations carried out.
