Heba Press -Al -Bayda
Local authorities last night made a descent into a “garage” in the Darb Ghaffal district of the city of Casablanca, which was used to sell the sacrifices on the occasion of Eid Al -Adha.
The process led to the seizure of dozens of sheep heads inside the garage, at a time when legal measures were taken against its owner.
This intervention is involved in the context of the implementation of strict instructions to prevent activities related to Eid Al -Adha for this year, after King Mohammed VI invited citizens to dispense with sacrifice, taking into account the difficult economic conditions that the country is going through, in addition to the wave of high costs and the consequences of continuous drought.
This royal invitation received a wide response from different company groups, while local authorities in several cities highlighted the need to respect the directives, while continuing surveillance campaigns to ensure their application on the ground.
