Baccalaureate exams begin in various establishments in the Kingdom

Examinations for obtaining the baccalaureate diploma began this Monday morning in various high schools in the Kingdom.

The number of exam candidates this year stands at 493,000.

According to an earlier statement from the Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, 373,000 of the candidates are school students, including 87% in the public sector and 54% are girls. The number of candidates in international fields represents 55%.

Depending on the sectors, 73% follow studies in scientific and technical sectors, and 26% in literary sectors.

This session is characterized by the adaptation of school programs, taking into account the available school time and the additional week of the current school year.
