Today, Friday, a certain number of cities attended the closure of a certain number of butcher’s stores, due to the depletion of the quantities of red meat of the markets, in conjunction with the closure of a certain number of major massacres, in an exceptional circumstance which comes one day before Eid Al -Adha.
According to local sources, the unprecedented demand for the acquisition of red meat in recent days has caused an inventory available to butchers, which has prompted many of them to close their stores due to the absence of goods.
This large request is granted to the response of large groups of Moroccans with the invitation of King Mohammed VI not to massacre the sacrifices this year, in a movement aimed at relieving economic pressure on families and to help protect the national herd in the high prices of cattle.
Faced with this situation, a certain number of citizens have been forced to go to the weekly markets or the acquisition of meat from informal sources, in the midst of increasing fears that these meat are not safe and of quality, in particular in the absence of the conditions of preservation and veterinary control.
