The Tetouan Court of First Instance sentenced a social media influencer to prison and a fine.

The court handed down a 10-month suspended prison sentence and a fine of 5,000 dirhams against the influencer who insulted women in the city of Tetouan.

A few months ago, the influencer published a video on social networks in which she accused the city’s women of going to Tangier to engage in prostitution, which led a rights association to bring complaint against her.
