An atmosphere of sadness on the celebrations of Mouloudia Algiers after having crowned the title of the Algerian professional league for the second time and ninth in its history, after a tragic accident saw a certain number of fans of the upper stadiums of the July 5 stadium in the capital.
Cancellation of the coronation ceremony due to the accident
Despite the coronation of the team after its negative equality with Maqara’s young people, who officially came to the amateur League, the Professional League League decided to cancel the championship shield by putting the championship back to another opinion, with regard to the circumstances of the accident and the injured.
Fall from the stands
The Algerian radio correspondent reported that a certain number of fans fell from more than 6 meters from the upper stands to the press platform, which aroused panic near the stadium, and pushed everyone to focus on the wounded instead of the celebration.
Urgent intervention for ambulance teams
The ambulances quickly transported the wounded to the hospital, while others were helped on the ground after their fainting and variable injuries. The match saw a large public presence greater than 60,000 spectators.
