The Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Kingdom of Morocco hosted a distinguished reception at its headquarters in Rabat on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, to celebrate the 95th Saudi National Day, commemorating the unification of the Kingdom under the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.
The reception was presided over by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Morocco, Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al Saleh, who delivered a speech on this cherished national occasion. He extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, praising the Kingdom’s developmental and civilizational achievements under its ambitious Vision 2030, and wishing the Saudi people continued progress and prosperity. The event was attended by prominent Moroccan figures, including the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, leading political figures such as former Prime Ministers Abdelilah Benkirane and Saad Eddine El Othmani, Minister of Justice Abdelatif Wahbi, as well as several senior civilian and military officials, and representatives of political parties. Several ambassadors accredited to the Kingdom of Morocco from sister and friendly countries also attended, along with representatives of international and regional organizations, and a group of intellectuals, academics, and media professionals, reflecting the depth of the brotherly and historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Morocco. As part of showcasing Saudi cultural heritage, the reception included artistic performances by a Saudi folklore troupe, presenting traditional performances that added joy and happiness to the evening. A platform was also dedicated to displaying examples of Saudi handicrafts, reflecting the diversity of Saudi heritage.
