The Moroccan media community was shocked by the death of journalist and translator Said El Jadidi, one of the prominent figures in Spanish-language media and the first to present news bulletins in this language on the Moroccan first channel. His sudden departure was a great shock to his colleagues and fans, especially those who were in close contact with him.
The deceased was one of the prominent professional voices, combining journalistic work and translation, and contributed significantly to building bridges of cultural understanding between the Arab world and Spanish speakers, through his translation of a number of intellectual and literary works from Arabic into Spanish.
Said El Jadidi's experience extended for many years in the media field, where he contributed to the development of Spanish-language content and opened new horizons for communication with wide segments of the public inside and outside Morocco. He was also known for his linguistic accuracy, his broad culture, and his professional commitment.
With the departure of Said El Jadidi, Moroccan media loses one of its pioneers in the field of linguistic and cultural diversity, and the intellectual arena loses a deep voice that believes in the message of the free word, translated with accuracy and integrity.
