The government council approved, on Thursday, a draft law concerning real estate subdivisions, housing groups, and the division of real estate, taking into account the raised observations, presented by the Minister of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning and City Policy, Fatema Zahra El Mansouri.
This concerns draft law number 34.21 amending and supplementing law number 25.90 related to real estate subdivisions, housing groups, and the division of real estate. The Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, the official spokesperson for the government, Mostafa Baitas, clarified in a press conference following the council meeting, that this project comes after it became clear through the evaluation of the application of law number 25.90 related to real estate subdivisions, housing groups, and the division of real estate, issued by royal decree number 1.92.7 dated 15 Dhu al-Hijjah 1412 (June 17, 1992) as amended, that there are many constraints and practical difficulties when activating some of its provisions, and the emergence of shortcomings and gaps that limit finding solutions to the problems raised in this field.
