American President Donald Trump issued a stern warning to Hamas, demanding it accept a comprehensive peace plan mediated by the United States concerning Gaza, before 6 p.m. on Sunday Washington time, threatening "unprecedented hell" in case of rejection.
Trump clarified in a lengthy post on the "Truth Social" platform that Hamas posed a serious threat in the Middle East for many years, culminating in the October 7 attack in Israel, which resulted in civilian casualties, including children, women, and the elderly. The American President defended Israeli military operations, noting the killing of more than 25,000 Hamas fighters since the outbreak of confrontations, while considering those remaining to be besieged awaiting their "inevitable end," adding: "We know where you are and who you are, and you will be hunted." Trump urged Palestinian civilians to leave the combat zones and head to safer places in Gaza, stressing that aid will be provided to them, while emphasizing that the movement's leaders have a "last chance" to accept the agreement, which he described as "historic," noting that it is supported by the United States, Israel, and a number of Arab countries. Trump concluded his warning by stressing that Hamas's failure to respond to the deadline will lead to a devastating military confrontation against it, adding: "Peace in the Middle East will be achieved by force or by agreement."
